The City Council of Palmera (La Safor), in collaboration with Fundación Todolí Citrus, has called for another year the Citrus Gastronomic Contest, which is now in its 4th edition. It will take place on Monday, 11th of March 2024 from 10am in front of the Social Center Bar located in Palmera, Valencia. The competition is aimed at professional chefs, and its main objective is to promote the use of the wide range of existing citrus varieties. The Foundation submitted a project to the program of Nominative Grants of the Presidency of the Diputació de València, which was selected and funded with an amount of 37,550.50 €. The project includes the installation of an aviary for songbirds in one of the plots of our Citrus Collection. The aviary has been designed by the German artist Carsten Höller, who has donated it to the Foundation in recognition of the work of its founder and president, Vicente Todolí, in protecting the environment and the biodiversity of Citrus. La visita a Todolí Citrus Fundació se realiza exclusivamente a través de visita guiada por nuestros técnicos. Los cítricos son frutos estacionales que necesitan del frio, por ello, durante algunos meses del año nuestro huerto no está abierto para visitas.
