Origin data

The Fiore Lemon is the result of a hybridization between a lemon tree and a clementine. Its main characteristic is the hybrid appearance of its fruit, with orange skin.

Tree and fruit description

Vigorous and productive tree, with a rounded morphology and leaves similar to those of a lemon tree. Medium-sized fruits with a rounded shape, tending to show a smooth neck or even a prominent apical nubbin. Uniformly grained bark, orange-yellow in color, or even orange at maturity. Moderately juicy pulp, greenish-yellow in color. Seedless.

Uses

Sour juice like lemon, but with a significant presence of sugar that mitigates this acidity and marks its hybrid origin. Both its juice and its peel can be substitutes for lemon in seasoning and confectionery, bringing a distinct character to the preparations.
