Tree and fruit description
Vigorous tree with a rounded morphology and fruits for almost the entire year. Large, dark green leaves. Medium to large-sized fruit with an ovoid shape, a pointed apical protrusion, and an apparent basal neck. Smooth bark, bright yellow in color, darker as it ripens, thick, hard, and aromatic. Thin, consistent albedo with a slightly bitter yet edible taste. Pale yellow pulp, juicy, with medium acidity and some seeds. The juice is aromatic and has acceptable acidity for most palates.
Uses
It can be a good substitute for traditional lemon, providing somewhat different fragrances. The grated zest is aromatic and interesting for making desserts.
