Mandarins and their hybrids
Origin:

Origin data
The Clementine Tomatera originated from a spontaneous mutation of a Fino clementine, selected in Burriana (Castellón, Spain). It gets its name from the intense orange color of the skin in ripe fruits. Its distinguishing characteristics from the parent Fino clementine are, besides the color of the skin, that it produces larger fruits and has an earlier ripening.
Tree and fruit description
Vigorous tree, rounded but characteristically flattened at the top. Medium-sized and abundant leaves. Oblate fruit of medium size. Bark of intense orange color, a color it acquires almost suddenly, in just a few days. Orange pulp, with a good juice content and a well-balanced ratio between acidity and sweetness. Seedless in the absence of cross-pollination. If the fruit remains on the tree, it suffers from bark puffing.
Uses
Fresh consumption.
