Tree and fruit description

Moderately vigorous tree, upright and not very productive. Wide, dark, serrated leaves. Medium to large-sized fruits, variously shaped but predominantly oblong or cylindrical, with a conical apical nipple and surrounded at the base by a sort of collar. Yellow, smooth, shiny, thin bark, with fine granulation and strongly attached. Characteristic central axis, small and solid. Flesh is yellowish-green, crisp, moderately juicy, very acidic, and slightly bitter. Contains some seeds.

Uses

Good alternative to table lemon, as its juice adds a slight bitter touch that is distinctive.
