The Fino lemon is an early variety that derived from the ancient Common variety, cultivated in Murcia (Spain). It is characterized by its early maturity, high productivity, and the fine texture of its skin, from which its name originates.

Tree and fruit description

Medium-large, vigorous, and productive tree. Large, lanceolate leaves. Medium-sized fruits, predominantly oval in shape with a relatively small and characteristic apical navel. Thin, smooth bark, moderately aromatic, adhering to the pulp, and reaching a golden yellow color at maturity. Very juicy pulp with high acidity. Contains some seeds.

Uses

The Fino is a typical table lemon that is used to season all kinds of dishes and in the preparation of desserts.
