Induced mutation by irradiation of buds from a Clementine variety of Nules, originated at the Valencian Institute of Agricultural Research (IVIA) in Moncada (Valencia, Spain) in the year 2002. It is characterized by its good post-harvest behavior in cold storage.
Tree and fruit description
Tree with an open growth habit and good vegetative development; it has no thorns. Oblate fruit, medium-small in size among clementines. Smooth and consistent bark, with an intense orange color. It is not sensitive to puffing. Flesh is orange, juicy, and well-balanced between sugars and acidity. It produces no seeds in the absence of cross-pollination. The fruits show ridges during their development, which may remain until the onset of color change.
