Bitter Oranges and their hybrids

Origin data
This variety is likely to be of Italian origin, developed within a program for creating new ornamental citruses. Given its morphological characteristics, it is possible that the Landriana Chinotto was used as the female parent. It is characterized by having a vegetative behavior similar to that of the Chinotto but producing fruits that are very different from them.
Tree and fruit description
Small tree, of low vigor and very open growth. Leaves arranged with very short internodes, overlapping, dark green in color. Medium-sized fruits, with a morphology between pyriform and ovoid, featuring a flat apical zone. Skin slightly granular, compact and hard. Orange in maturity, with a tendency for the basal area to remain yellow. Yellow flesh with orange or pink iridescences, juicy. Acidic, fresh juice with a slightly bitter background. No seeds present.
Uses
Interesting alternative to lemon and lime, as its mixed flavor adds bitter notes to broths and fish.
