At Todolí Citrus Fundació, we value knowledge and education as spaces for exchange between territory, culture and professional practice. For this reason, this year we have renewed our collaboration with García-Ibáñez Technical College, hosting its Wines of the World course at our facilities.

Led by Paco Hidalgo Ivars, the training offered students a specialised introduction to the wine sectors of some of the world’s leading producing countries. Through theoretical content and sensory analysis, participants were able to explore the particularities of different regions, regulations and wine styles.

The programme covered the winemaking traditions of Portugal, Greece, Germany, Austria and Hungary, as well as Argentina, Chile and the United States. Wines from South Africa, New Zealand and Australia were also explored, broadening the perspective on the diversity of climates, soils, grape varieties and winemaking methods that shape the international wine landscape.

The sessions took place in the Foundation’s gastronomic laboratory, a versatile space designed to host educational, research and experimental activities. This setting provided an appropriate context for learning and exchange, in keeping with Todolí Citrus Fundació’s commitment to creating and sharing knowledge.
