When the Italian singer Franco Battiato passed away, ice cream chef Fernado Saenz Duarte, owner with his wife Angelines of the ice cream parlor Grace & Dellasera, wanted to pay tribute to his idol by giving his name to a very special ice cream, made with the juice of green Shikwasa (Citrus deprisa), an ancestral mandarin from Japan.
