Squeeze Me: Lemon Recipes & Art

A celebration of the lemon in book form, somewhere between a cookbook and an art object. Squeeze Me: Lemon Recipes & Art brings together fifty recipes by renowned chef Ruthie Rogers and a series of original artworks created especially for this publication by artist Ed Ruscha, with the collaboration of Heather Ive.

Through both sweet and savoury dishes, the lemon takes centre stage: from risottos, salads and main courses to tarts and desserts, always presented with the straightforward and approachable style that characterises Rogers’s cooking. The recipes reveal the remarkable versatility of this citrus fruit and its ability to bring freshness, balance and depth to everyday cooking.

The images created by Ed Ruscha specifically for this project add an artistic dimension that makes the book a unique piece to cook from, read and collect. The result is a publication that celebrates gastronomy, art and one of the Mediterranean’s most universal fruits.
