Availability:
October - December

Oroval is the result of the selection of a spontaneous mutation of the Fino Clementine, detected in 1950 in Quart de les Valls (Valencia, Spain).
Tree and fruit description
Tree of medium vigor and characteristic vertical growth habit. Lanceolate, medium-sized, dark leaves. Medium-sized fruit, tending towards ovoid morphology with a flat apical pole. Intense orange bark, rough and easy to peel. Very juicy pulp, with juice more acidic than other clementines. Seedless in the absence of cross-pollination. Its main drawback is the small window of harvest it offers, as it suffers a rapid loss of fruit quality if kept mature on the tree, both due to decreased juice content and puffing of the skin.
Uses
Fresh consumption.
