Origin data

Cultivar originated in Almassora (Castellón, Spain) in 1962 from a bud mutation of the Owari cultivar. Its particularity is that it matures 2 to 3 weeks earlier than Owari. At full maturity, it is slightly less sweet, but very similar to its parent in all other aspects.

Tree and fruit description

Spherical fruit flattened at the poles, medium-sized among satsumas. Smooth, thin bark, orange in color and easy to peel. Seedless. Intense orange pulp, very juicy, sweet, and with a delicate aroma.
