Mateo Blay Bertó

Born in Gandía (Valencia) in 1958, Mateo Blay is an agricultural engineer from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. President and founder of AGR Food Marketing and AGR Transformación Social, as well as co-founder of Flores Solidarias.

He began his career at the Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Agrarias (National Institute of Agricultural Research) and from there he went on to create his first company in 1985. He has been founder of ZenithBrmedia and is president and founder of AGR Food Marketing and AGR Social Transformation. He is currently developing and disseminating Social Transformation Marketing, a process that involves companies seeking the awareness of society about a product or service.

Philanthropy is one of the great stimuli in his personal life, being motivated by the conviction in the ideology of the causes to which he contributes.

Among others, he has contributed to conceive and is part of several foundations: Fundación Sabor y Salud, Fundación de la Comunidad Valenciana para el Medio Ambiente, has been founder of the movement “El hombre del Saco”, is a member of the Board of Trustees of Fundación Per Amor al Art and is in the process of creating Fundación Flores Solidarias.

In addition to being a member of the Board of Trustees of Todolí Citrus Fundació, he is a Bergamot Benefactor of our Friends & Friends program.
