We announce that you can now book your guided visit to the Botanical Garden El Bartolí for the season 2024/2025. The visit to Todolí Citrus Fundació is done exclusively through guided tours. Citrus fruits are seasonal fruits that need the cold, therefore, during some months of the year our orchard is not open for visits.
Next Saturday, November 2, we begin the 2024-2025 campaign, which will last until the end of April or the beginning of May, weather permitting. This year we will have two shifts of visits: Saturdays at 10:00h and at 12:00h, with an approximate duration of 2 hours each.
Our guide will accompany you on the tour that includes an explanatory walk through the Botanical Orchard El Bartolí, which has an area of approximately 4.5 hectares. During the tour you will learn about the nearly 500 different varieties of citrus fruits and, although not all of them are present simultaneously due to the seasonality of the product, you will learn interesting information about their origin, evolution, uses, etc. Also, a tasting of seasonal citrus fruits is offered in the field.
The experience is completed with a visit to the gastronomic laboratory, where you can also learn about some of the products we have for sale, developed with our citrus fruits such as jams, chocolates, beverages, and some publications.
With these elements, we encourage dialogue between the world of citrus, arts, culture and industry.
We recommend that you come with comfortable clothes and footwear, and the use of mosquito repellent, since we are in a natural area. In addition, we remind you that we do not have drinks in our facilities, so it is advisable to bring water to stay hydrated during the visit, especially on the hottest days. It is also advisable to bring a hat or cap to protect you from the sun.
It is essential to book an appointment in advance. To do so, you can make all the arrangements and consult the days and times of visits in our calendar.
