On 19 September, Todolí Citrus Fundació will host a new edition of this film series, curated by Andrea Franco, at El Bartolí. The following day, 20 September, the programme will also be presented at Hotel Montsant in Xàtiva, thanks to the support of Inelcom.

Entitled The Sensitive Field, this year’s programme brings together filmmakers who find in nature, the cultivation of the land and the passing of the seasons a source of inspiration and a way of understanding the world. Their films journey through gardens, orchards and rural landscapes, inviting us to see with fresh eyes that which nourishes us and connects us to the earth.

As a preview, we would like to share an excerpt from Andrea Franco’s introductory text:

“All of them—gardeners, farmers, peasants, artists or filmmakers—understand nature as something sacred and precious. For the latter, the way they make films—crafting a handmade, deeply personal cinema—is their way of existing in the world and in communion with the natural world.”
