Vicente Todolí. A life in art and citrus
The Austrian culture and lifestyle magazine Maison Ë first visited Todolí Citrus Fundació to prepare an article about our project. The experience proved so inspiring that, a few weeks later, the team returned to produce a documentary film.
The result is In the Citrus Garden with Vicente Todolí, a piece directed by Michael Rottmann that offers an intimate look at Vicente Todolí’s life and the ideas that have shaped Todolí Citrus Fundació.
Filmed in the El Bartolí botanical citrus garden, the documentary combines a thoughtful conversation with Vicente Todolí and a journey through the orchard, the collections and the Foundation’s different spaces. Beyond presenting the uniqueness of the project, the film captures some of his most personal reflections on childhood, landscape, art and the curiosity that sparked his interest in nature and citrus fruits.
Through this close and personal portrait, viewers discover a unique project where natural heritage and artistic creation are in constant dialogue.
The documentary is part of Maison Ë Issue 06, dedicated to creativity, craftsmanship and cultural projects rooted in their territories. It offers a new perspective on both the origins of the Foundation and the vision that continues to guide its development.
