At Todolí Citrus Fundació, we believe in the transformative power of education and the value of shared knowledge. That’s why it has been a pleasure to collaborate with the García-Ibáñez Group in organising the specialised courses on pruning and grafting recently held at our facilities.

The García-Ibáñez Group contributed their teaching experience, organisational skills and a highly practical approach, while we at the Foundation provided the space and agricultural resources, creating a synergy we hope to repeat in future editions.

The theoretical sessions took place in our gastronomic laboratory, a versatile space that functions both as a classroom and a culinary workshop. The practical sessions were held directly on some of the trees from our collection. This unique environment, surrounded by biodiversity and specimens of great agronomic value, offered an exceptional context for learning.

The experience has been truly enriching for everyone involved. The instructor demonstrated deep technical knowledge and remarkable pedagogical ability, keeping the group of students motivated, engaged and dedicated throughout each explanation and task. It was incredibly rewarding to see the seriousness with which the process was approached, as well as the excellent results obtained during the practical sessions.

We trust that this training has helped the participating students expand their knowledge and skills, and that it will contribute to opening up new and better professional opportunities for them in the near future.

These kinds of training programs not only provide technical skills but also promote a more sustainable and conscious approach to tree management—something that is at the very core of our mission.

We hope this collaboration marks the beginning of many more shared experiences, where education, territory and plant heritage always go hand in hand.
