Our Salò Citron marmalade is mild in aroma and color. In contrast, its flavour is persistent and the mixture of textures, with the presence of pieces of rind, allows us to enjoy the explosion of essential oil vesicles in our mouth, creating an experience with character.

The Salò Citron (Citrus medica) is native from the small Italian town of the same name, located on the shores of Lake Garda in the province of Brescia (Lombardy), where citrus fruits have been grown since the 15th century. An important liqueur industry flourished around this variety.
The tree is not very vigorous and has thorns. Its flowers are large and purple, while the fruits are of medium size within the citrons. They are characterised by being oval and with a prominent nipple surrounded by a notorious areola, which can be up to a third of the size of the fruit.
