Todolí Citrus Foundation at the 3rd edition of The Hygeia Legacy

Todolí Citrus Fundació took part in the third edition of the International Seminar The Hygeia Legacy, held in Torregrotta (Sicily, Italy) on November 17th and 18th.

The seminar was organised by Aromas Itinerarium Salutis, the European Route of Historic Pharmacies and Medicinal Gardens, of which Todolí Citrus is a founding member.

The Association Aromas Itinerarium Salutis (AIS) is a non-profit organisation with an indefinite duration, established in 2021 in Valencia (Spain) with the aim of preserving and promoting Europe’s tangible and intangible heritage linked to the history of pharmacy, through the creation and management of the European Route of Historic Pharmacies and Medicinal Gardens. The institutional and legal headquarters of AIS are located at the University of Valencia (Faculty of Geography and History).

The guiding theme of the seminar was “The legacy of medicinal plants and sustainable rural entrepreneurship for young Europeans.” The Municipality of Torregrotta was an exceptional host and allowed us to discover the rural surroundings of the Niceto Valley, as well as the cultural treasures of towns such as Valdina, Roccavaldina and Monforte.
