ORIGIN DATA:

Mutation induced by irradiation of buds of a Clementino de Nules, originated at the Valencian Institute of Agricultural Research (IVIA) in Moncada (Valencia, Spain) in 2002. It is characterized by its good cold post-harvest performance.

 

TREE AND FRUIT DESCRIPTION:

Tree with open growth habit and good vegetative development; it has no thorns. The fruit is oblate, of medium-small size among clementines. Smooth and consistent rind, intense orange color. Not sensitive to rind loosening. Orange flesh, juicy and with a good balance between sugars and acid. It does not produce seeds in the absence of cross-pollination. The fruits show grooves during their development, which may remain until the beginning of the color change.

Fresh consumption.
