ORIGIN DATA:

The Orogrós clementine is the result of the selection of a spontaneous mutation detected on the Oronules clementine. It was selected by Vicente Arnau in La Vall D’Uxó (Castellón, Spain). Its main characteristic is that it is a slightly earlier variety than the original Oronules.

TREE AND FRUIT DESCRIPTION:

The tree is not very vigorous, thornless and small in size. Small, dark, lanceolate leaves with a tendency to curve towards the underside. Medium-sized fruit, similar to Oronules, of oblate morphology. Intense orange rind, easy to peel and slightly soft. Tasty pulp, with good acid-sugar balance, although the membranes of the segments are apparent. Seedless in the absence of cross-pollination.

USES:

Fresh consumption.
