ORIGIN DATA:

Nulessin is a clementine resulting from the mandarin improvement program of the IVIA (Valencian Institute of Agricultural Research), in Valencia (Spain). It was obtained by gamma irradiation of the Clemenules variety buds. It differs from its parent in the lower presence of seeds and in the lower viability of its pollen, which reduces cross-pollination with other varieties.

TREE AND FRUIT DESCRIPTION:

Large, vigorous and productive tree. Larger leaves than other clementines. Fruits very similar to those of Clemenules, of medium size and oblate morphology. Slightly rough rind, intense orange color and easy to peel. Pulp of high quality, with good quantity of juice and good sugar-acidity balance. If it remains on the tree after ripening, the fruit loses internal and external quality.

USES:

Its main use is fresh consumption.
