ORIGIN DATA:

This variety seems to be a selection made on the island of Sicily (Italy), where it is grown almost exclusively. It is characterized both by the morphology of the leaves of the trees, which are narrower than in other lemon trees, and by the morphology and size of its fruits.

TREE AND FRUIT DESCRIPTION:

Vigorous tree, with a tendency to form a rounded canopy with dense foliage. Highly lanceolate leaves for a lemon, narrow and with an acute base. Fruits of small size, pyriform shape and rounded apical area with small pointed mamelon. Smooth, thin, aromatic and pale yellow rind. Pulp little juicy, acid and refreshing. Few seeds.

USES:

Interesting variety for the appearance of its fruits, whose rind can flavor dishes or drinks.
