ORIGIN DATA:
The Cotidiana Orange is very particular, both for the characteristics of the tree and for its fruits. It is possible that this mutation was selected in southern Italy, but there is no specific data. Both the leaves of the tree and the rind of the fruits show random patterns of coloration. Therefore, it is considered a variegated cultivar.
TREE AND FRUIT DESCRIPTION:
Tree of medium vigor, with bushy and rounded growth. Variegated leaves, combining dark green and pale yellow. Rounded fruits, small in size between the oranges. Gently rough, thick and non-uniform rind. With alternating colors by sectors, orange and yellow at maturity. Orange flesh, very juicy, sweet and with medium acidity. It has seeds.
USES:
Variety with high ornamental value. It is consumed fresh, but its main value is the quality of its juice.
