ORIGIN DATA:
Selection of a bud mutation produced in a Moroccan Clementine cultivar called Cadoux. It is characterized by being a late cultivar. During the first years of its commercialization, it was marketed under the name “Sunerine”, because it was discovered on the Suner family estate. But in the early 1990s the name was changed to Nour.
TREE AND FRUIT DESCRIPTION:
The characteristics of the tree are very similar to those of the Spanish cultivar Hernandina, being leafy and fast-growing trees. The size of the fruit of the Nour clementine is somewhat smaller than that of Hernandina and its shape is more spherical. It acquires color a little earlier than Hernandina.
