ORIGIN DATA:
Selection made in Sicily (Italy) from a spontaneous bud mutation on Common Clementine. It is characterized by being a late cultivar, hence its name, and whose fruit remains well on the tree after ripening.
TREE AND FRUIT DESCRIPTION:
Vigorous tree with an upright growth habit and dense foliage. Medium-large, lanceolate leaves typical of Clementines. Its flowers are white and fairly large. Fruits of medium size among clementines, globular shape and flattened at the poles. Intense orange rind, with a tendency to separate from the flesh. Juicy pulp, usually with few seeds.
USES:
Fresh consumption.
It is a very popular cultivar as an ornamental plant.
