The Satsuma El Bartolí is the result of the variety recovery program carried out by Todolí Citrus Fundació. This early satsuma is characterized by the size of its fruits and by the presence of a small aborted fruit in the apical zone of the main fruit.
TREE AND FRUIT DESCRIPTION:
Vigorous and productive tree, with a slow growing habit and open bearing. Large, lanceolate leaves with a slightly serrated margin. Fruit is remarkably oblate, large in size for an early satsuma. Smooth skin, thin, waxy and greenish-yellow in color when the fruit reaches internal maturity. Very easy to peel. Seedless. Pulp is of an intense and brilliant orange color, juicy, sweet with an interesting point of acidity.
