ORIGIN DATA:
Selection of a bud mutation produced on an original or Common clementine, detected and isolated in 1962 by René Ristorcelli in Rabat (Morocco). Corsica 2 clementine is characterized by the uniformity of the fruit size and the consistency in fruit bearing.
TREE AND FRUIT DESCRIPTION:
Vigorous tree with similar behavior to the Common clementine, but with an earlier entry into production and higher yields. Oblong fruit, similar to the Common clementine, but larger. Orange and aromatic rind. Orange flesh, with good presence of juice. Self-incompatible variety, thus seedless in the absence of cross-pollination. Exceptional organoleptic qualities.
USES:
Fresh consumption.
