ORIGIN DATA:
Variety selected in the Sicilian region of Cerza (Italy), which is an area where many, and of high quality, lemons are produced.
TREE AND FRUIT DESCRIPTION:
Semi-vigorous tree with upright growth. Dark green leaves, with the petiole sensitive to wind. Ovoid fruit with a smooth apical mamelon and the basal area usually die-cut. Rind slightly granulated, yellow, medium-thick and of mild aroma. Bright yellow flesh, very juicy and very acidic. Practically seedless.
USES:
It is a table lemon, which uses include seasoning with the juice, which is stronger, or with the rind, which has a more restrained aroma.
