On 29th of January we will be at Casa Mediterráneo, Alicante, presenting the book Los Cítricos. A journey through history and art.
This publication, the work of the engineer and citrus expert Salvador Zaragoza Adriaensens, is self-published by Todolí Citrus Fundació with the colaboration of publisher La Fábrica. It takes a journey from the origins of citrus fruits to the present day, describing their importance in the history of mankind and their role in art. The volume includes more than 80 works of art, from ancient Rome to contemporary art. A parallel history that demonstrates the importance of these fruits in all civilisations and periods.
The presentation will consist of a talk between the author and Vicente Todolí, president and founder of Todolí Citrus Fundació, dedicated to the research, recovery and cultivation of citrus fruits in Palmera (Valencia), where he has created the largest private collection of citrus fruits in the open air in the world.
