The Sustainability award went to Vicente Todolí and his project Todolí Citrus Fundació, who for years has been vindicating the fruit and vegetable tradition of his land and has worked tirelessly to protect and promote the biodiversity of citrus fruits.
His Botanical and Citrus Orchard brings together more than 500 ancestral, exotic or endangered varieties, as explained Cristina Giménez, Managing Director of the Foundation, who collected the award on behalf of Todolí, which was presented to her by Federico Oldenburg, specialised journalist and member of the jury. In his words of thanks, he recalled the beautiful report that Oldenburg himself signed five years ago in Fuera de Serie, he vindicated the importance of sustainability for the foundation and thanked the chefs for continuing to discover more about citrus fruits every day.
