El Bartolí Botanical Garden
The core of the Foundation is its citrus collection, which makes up the El Bartolí Botanical Orchard. This unique garden is located on the Spanish Mediterranean coast, in a region with a long tradition of citrus cultivation. It has some 500 different varieties of citrus, grown on an area of 4.5 hectares.
El Bartolí is the hub of all our activity. Here we preserve the enormous biodiversity of citrus fruits, which is the basis of the outreach we carry out, as well as the starting point for numerous research projects in aspects as varied as sustainable agriculture, science, the environment, history, gastronomy, industry or art.
