Original Title: “Antoni Miralda: “Los artistas tienen que estar conectados con la realidad y la realidad es lo que está pasando”

Together with the Todolí Citrus Fundació, the Catalan artist presents a project that pays homage to the everyday as an artistic language and encourages the viewer to complete the work of art himself.
The artist Antoni Miralda presents ADN-DNA together with the Todolí Citrus Fundació.
The hands of Antoni Miralda (Terrassa, 1942) move gracefully, without hesitation. He spreads his fingers over thin layers of printed tissue paper and crumples them into compact balls, which he then stores in a poplar wood box reminiscent of those from the 19th century in which citrus fruits were transported across the Atlantic.
It all forms part of a performance, ADN-DNA, which the artist has designed in collaboration with the Todolí Citrus Fundació and which he has presented for the first time in one of the halls of the Club Matador in Madrid.
